A welcome distraction this week with the installation of the first of two IMPACK Packaging Ergosa lines at a UK food folding carton company on a Bobst folder-gluer. A little out of my comfort zone, but glad to do a small bit to help the food supply chain in these uncertain times. With so many different carton styles and case packing requirements this meant the customer, until now, had little choice but to pack by hand. With the Ergosa, the choice of different pack modes gives flexibility to cover most packing specifications.
