We are delighted to announce that another Boomerang folder-gluer will soon be arriving in the UK. South Wales based Lexon Group a print, project handling and fulfilment company will be taking ownership of this unique folder-gluer in July.

The Boomerang will provide the business with the capability of producing straight-line and crash-lock boxes.

Together with a single person operation and small footprint, means that it can offer clients an increased product range whilst keeping costs to a minimum.

Dominic Hartley Commercial Director for Lexon explains their reasoning for the acquisition of the Boomerang and their intentions. “With our B2 sheet fed Inkjet printing and digital laser cutting & creasing proving a massive hit with our carton customers we needed to increase our firepower in the folder gluing department. The Boomerang is the ideal solution for our low run, ultra-fast turnaround carton work whilst also able to cope with our large volume carton orders. Our two current folder gluers are limited with their gluing options and with our soon to be launched ‘web to pack’ online carton portal we needed to be in a position to keep the whole process in-house. Space and manning also played a huge part in our decision to purchase the Boomerang!”
